From an early age, I've always been fascinated with what makes people tick. Why we do the things we do, and what gives us purpose and meaning. I majored in psychology in college and received my bachelors degree from Smith College in 1993. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Boston College in 1998 and began working in a nonprofit Community Mental Health Center for children and families. Since then, I have worked in a wide variety of settings with all ages, including outpatient mental health, crisis work in a hospital setting, outreach to people in their homes, consultation within the court system, and have had the privilege to manage several intensive treatment programs and facilities in my home state of Massachusetts. I have learned so much and grown so much as a person from serving the people in my community. I cannot imagine doing anything other than this work.

My style integrates many modalities and is individually tailored. I will meet you where you are, and we will walk this path together. I have extensive experience in working with trauma and complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence and autism, relationships and communication, substance misuse, psychosis and spiritual emergencies, self-harming behavior, ADHD, attachment issues including adoption and foster care, and behavioral issues of many sorts. I have a particular interest in working with the Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families Loving Parent Guidebook model. I utilize CBT, ACT, spirituality, behavior modification, harm reduction, mindfulness, somatic informed treatment, and have some experience with psychedelic integration work.
